VMY International Council convenes in Madrid

The VMY International Council will hold its annual meeting on January 13-17, 2017 in Madrid. This will be the second meeting of the present Council elected by the General Assembly in Salamanca last July 2015.
On this occasion, they will discuss important issues of the Association together with volunteers from the International Secretariat.
This year’s meeting will be graced by the presence of the Superior General and Director General of VMY, Fr. Tomaž Mavrič, CM. Also with him is the Director General of the Congregation of the Mission, Fr. Aaron Gutiérrez, CM. On January 12, Thursday, a day prior to the meeting, Father Tomaž will celebrate the Holy Eucharist with the Vincentian Family at the Basilica de la Milagrosa in Madrid. After the International Council meeting, the councilors will send an inspirational letter to the VMY countries.
