Lecture “Sowing Excellence” at Our Lady of Grace Parish in Xipamanine

On March 10, 2024, at 3 pm, the Parish of Our Lady of Grace in Xipamanine hosted a lecture on the theme “Sowing Excellence: Biblical Foundations for an Abundant Harvest in Entrepreneurship.” 

 The initiative was organized by the JUMAR of the Maputo region with the aim of raising funds for charity and making participation in the lecture conditional on the financial contribution of those present.

 The event was chaired by respected speaker Allen Macuácua, who led discussions on the importance of biblical principles in the world of entrepreneurship.

 The talk was held in line with the Lenten season, encouraging conversion and love of neighbor through the practice of charity.

 In addition to Allen’s powerful words, the afternoon was enriched by the presence of various artistic figures, who shared music and poetry. Among those present were members of the VMY National Council (JUMAR), Father Alexandre Garcia (vicar of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Xipamanine), and various members of the local community and different religious denominations.

 One of the central teachings of the talk, highlighted by Allen, was the importance of prioritizing the search for the Kingdom of God and its justice as the basis for success not only in entrepreneurship, but in all spheres of life.

 The message conveyed resonated positively among the participants, promoting reflection and inspiring action based on Christian values and solidarity with others.

 In the end, the talk “Sowing Excellence” left not only a monetary contribution to charity, but also a legacy of wisdom and motivation for all those present, reinforcing the importance of balance between spiritual life and material achievements.
