National Encounter VMY Angola

During the time of February 6-9,the VMY held their 10th National Encounter in the Province of Cuanza-Sul in the Municipal of Kibala. The theme of this gathering was Saint Vincent and Mercy. After three days of reflection the following commitments were accepted and embraced by the participants: to be merciful toward oneself and to live in such a way that being merciful toward others becomes contagious, to take more time to listen to others, to put aside time to pray, to live our Christian and Vincentian identity in a more profound manner, to know the names of those persons who are poor and to become ever more aware of their real needs.
