VMY Venezuela National Elective Assembly
Recently in Venezuela the National Elective Assembly 2023 was held to choose the new Youth Council that will be representing and guiding the Association.
In three days full of enthusiasm and prayer, hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, this long-awaited National Elective Assembly of the Vincentian Marian Youth took place in the facilities of the Congregation’s Residence at the Colegio San Vicente de Paul in the city of Barquisimeto (Lara State).
The motto of the Assembly was: “From our VMY Venezuela identity we opt for the formation and preference for the mission” emphasizing all the pastoral work done by the outgoing council throughout its 4 years of service, which sought to strengthen the association to its roots in order to welcome the young people who day by day are integrated to the different local groups.
In addition, during the assembly, proposals were presented to continue improving the guidelines for the Association to continue growing, forming, persevering, dreaming, and walking despite the adverse circumstances of the country.
For this reason we entrust the service of the new council in the hands of the Lord and the projects of the Association, as well as the personal projects and dreams of the members of the outgoing council and we ask to continue counting on their fraternity, support, and prayer.
The new Council Members are: Daniel Guiñan (coordinator), Migdalia Colmenarez (secretary) and Alejandro Pérez (treasurer).
